Travel By Car...

From Victoria

Take Highway 1 north. After you pass the Nanaimo Airport, take the next exit (Nanaimo Lakes). Turn immediately right onto Nanaimo River Road and follow the signs to WildPlay. WildPlay is located, just south of Nanaimo and just over one hour from Victoria. The address of the park is 35 Nanaimo River Road.

From Nanaimo

Take Highway 1 south. Take the Nanaimo Lakes exit and follow the signs to WildPlay. WildPlay is approximately 15 minutes south of Nanaimo. The address of the park is 35 Nanaimo River Road.

BC Ferry from West Vancouver or Tsawwassen

Take a BC ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay or from Tsawwassen to Duke Point. From both arrival terminals, follow the signs to get you to Highway 1 heading south to Victoria. Take the Nanaimo Lakes exit and follow the signs to WildPlay. WildPlay is approximately 15 minutes south of Nanaimo. If you've passed the Nanaimo Airport, you've gone too far and need to turn around and head north. The address of the park is 35 Nanaimo River Road.

Parking

Free parking is provided at the park site.

Upon entering the park, the first parking lot on the left is the overflow parking lot (capacity 75 cars) in the event the main parking lot is full. This lot is within a short walking distance to our park reception, along a groomed trail.

Further along the road at the main parking lot, there are approximately 40 parking spaces and an area for drop-offs and pick-ups and two handicap parking spaces.

We recommend that you do not leave any valuables in your car.

There are many options for getting to our site. We encourage you to consider the use of the local rail service.
